Dear Reader,

I just returned from International Cement Microscopy Association (ICMA, www.cemmicro.org) that was held in Quebec City.  Yesterday afternoon, I participated in a panel public discussion on the evidence for/against cast-in-place origin of the Egyptian pyramid blocks. Drs. Donald Campbell and Dipayan Jana  made the case for carving; they talked first and I closed. At the end of my talk, when asked if anybody had any questions, nobody, including the two aforementioned gentlemen, had any question,  comments or objections. I assumed, by their silence, that they were convinced  that at least some of the blocks were indeed cast. Michel
